Green Papaya in Fort Smitd

Green Papaya is really great! I absolutely love their food and the whole restaurant in general is very relaxing and calm, the service is good, and the food is AMAZING. I highly recommend trying this place out if you haven’t. I normally get the #18 beef and it is sooo good!

Consistently good always satified

Got the wrong order. Went back to get it corrected they told me that I had the right order and I just ate the shrimp off of it. Horrible customer service

Second time eating Vietnamese food and it's 100 times better than the first. I got the iced coffee and a number 6. The coffee is strong and the dish is spicy, just how I like them.

Excellent food. Vegetarian and Meatatarian dishes. Fresh vegetables great sauces. Friendly staff.

If you come here you better not be in a hurry. The wait is long. That being said the food is so amazing that the wait is worth every minute. I highly recommend.

The food a the best thing that I have EVER put in my mouth, and I really like this place. It is like NO OTHER Vietnamese resturants that I ever been too. In fact this place is sooo good that it is called a cusine for a reason. I go to this place very often, and even the food that you buy will not go to waste. So this is my POSITIVE review on this resturant and I've got to say that I really apprieate the food.

Green Papaya has been a staple of Fort Smith cuisine for a decade. Revitalizing the old Bob and Ellie's building, they transformed into a sleek, clean, and inviting atmosphere. Often times a piano rendition of "my heart goes on" is playing in the background; like icing on the cake.The food is great! Most recipes come from the owner's grandmother from what I've gathered and they're delicious. Rich in flavor and authentic. I usually get two full meals out of every order.Service is somewhat slow. I'm sure given their large menu selection and the homemade selections, it's difficult to get the food out in a fast manner. It's worth the wait, just keep it in mind when coming here.Lastly, there's another location on Grand Ave. that's just as good!

Three words - Pineapple fried rice!

I used to come here all the time with a vegetarian friend. The pho is good, but we stopped and will not be going back due to their "vegetarian" options not necessarily being vegetarian. We were told they had a new vegetarian pho broth and my friend ate it several times. On our last trip, we asked for vegetarian pho with this broth and were informed that there was not any vegetarian broth, nor was there ever any vegetarian broth. For months, they lied and fed a vegetarian chicken broth, which to me is unacceptable.

This Vietnamese restaurant has the best pho in town. It doesn't quite match up to a nice large bowl of pho in a major city, but it still satisfies your normal pho cravings. The service can be relatively lackluster, but that is because they usually only have two waitresses for the entire restaurant.

When I want oriental food this is my spot!

My all time favorite place to sit down and eat. Their food is fresh and hot and always served in a timely fashion. They also serve the BEST iced coffee.

Fast and efficient service. Really enjoy their spring rolls and peanut sauce as an appetizer. Both their Pho and their Bun meals are really good, no matter which you choose. Portions are very large and can be shared quite easily. They to go but the Pho can be sort of tricky since the meat isn't cooked and you need to get it in the broth ASAP to cook properly. Request their chili paste if you want some added heat. Outside looks run down but the inside is prestine and has a great atmosphere.

This was my first time eating Vietnamese food and it was delicious! I had the #12 beef bun with crab Rangoon. It was very good. The sauce served with it was light & flavorful. The veggies are slightly pickled and all the flavors worked great together. I liked that they had screens on the wall showing what the different menu items looked like. The menu is pretty big and there are lots of other things I would like to try. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly.

Are you kidding me? This is a gem in a desert of ordinary fast food. Great Grilled pork vermicelli. (Bun thit nuong) iced coffee is a treat too.

Sweet hostess and nice waitress. Not crowded, but busy. Nice ambiance, decor and background music. Quirky owner has pictures of Duck Tails on the walls. Fresh food, good prices. Delicious pho. Lots of menu choices and variety. Clean. Awesome experience.

Food had a good flavor but the service was absolutely horrible my drink went empty twice and never got refilled the waitress did not come back to the table once we got our food had to go to the register to get a to go box would not recommend this one

Green Papaya was fantastic! We hadn't been there in awhile but plan on going back soon! Service was fast & friendly. Food was delicious, fresh and promptly served. We'd forgotten how good this south Fort Smith treasure is! Prices are very reasonable.

Working in the area and stopped for lunch. Very friendly and helpful and great food. Watching area closely and will be here for a while. Returning soon.

The #18 with shrimp was really good! My friends got the #15 and #26 and they both enjoyed theirs as well!

There was a heck of a wait for our food once we ordered but it was worth the wait. The serving was huge and it was delicious! There was so much in this dish theres no way you could eat it all in one sitting. My pho had 3 or 4 different kinds of meats and a size plate of fresh vegetables to mix in. If your a heavy drinker I recommend getting water or tea. If you order soda its 1.25 for a can of soda and a cup of ice and no free refills. But I was a great visit and we will most definitely be back.

Good food and attentive staff!

Good food consistent quality. Polite staff. That was three years ago. Now I'd say visit at your own risk. They do not practice social distancing. Only the waitress wore a mask. I won't be back anytime soon.

The food was not spectacular, had better and worse. The service was subpar to say the least, some reviews say best in town, but I know there is a thriving Vietnamese community in the area and there has to be better.
